Chelsea have the lead against New England Revolution.
The Blues played a strong side against the Americans, and it was occasional first teamer Ross Barkley who netted the opener.
Showing his Premier League level class against some amateur defending, Barkley took the ball down cooly in the box and fired it home.
This was supposed to be a warmup for the Europa League, but it doesn’t look like these guys are up to much. We’ve got the lead after 3 minutes – and it looks as though we could rack up a few more.
Maybe this was supposed to be more of a workout; at least we’re building confidence.
