Why do we want Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the team?
Why do we cry out for him every time he’s not in the team?
Because he can do THIS. Incredible play that sees him show off strength, speed and touch to break between defenders and pull the team up the pitch. If he can play, and do this regularly, he really can be a quite exceptional player.
We’re sure he needs to improve “in the defensive phase”, but in this phase, he’s magnificent. That reverse nutmeg… he’s something special, he really is.
