Sarri’s path to new club could be clear if Conte rumours are true

As seems to be the case every summer, Chelsea have got themselves involved in an intricate summer Serie A managerial waltz.

The pieces of the jigsaw are all being shaken out of the bag over on the peninsula, with nobody really sure how they will end up being arranged. One thing we do know for sure is that coaches over there really don’t mind heading to their former hated rivals.

So Antonio Conte, who was sacked from Chelsea last summer, has turned down the club he played for and manager in Juventus, to try his luck at Inter Milan, according to today’s copy of the Sun.

That means a clear path for Maurizio Sarri to join the Old Lady, who have just got rid of Max Allegri.

He then may come to Chelsea, or maybe even to Roma, who are also lacking a boss right now.

All we know now is that we find ourselves tangled up in this web once again, and we really don’t know who will end up where.  So make sure to renew your Gazzetta subscription, it could be a long summer.
