Roman Abramovich ready to sack Maurizio Sarri after Europa League final and the fans are to blame

Chelsea could be without a manager shortly after the Europa League final after reports in Italy via Metro Sports say the owner of the club wants to see the back of Maurizio Sarri.

The fans are to blame and here’s is why: Chelsea began the season quite well in the Premier League and in fact all the competitions they were involved in. Advancing further in the cup competitions, while beating clubs like Liverpool in the Carabao Cup 3rd round, the Blues also rubbed shoulders with Liverpool and Manchester City, the two teams that eventually made it through to the final hurdle of the title race.

Chelsea fans were heard for the first time chanting ‘F*** Sarriball’ when their side lost 2-0 to Man United in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge. That’s apparently enough to convince the owner that this manager will never work out.

The sudden poor results turned the fans against him and despite turning their season around in the end, Sarri is set to lose his job. He has successfully guided his team to third place in the Premier League standings, qualifying for the Champions League while making the final of the Europa League against Arsenal.
