“He is a top player” – World Cup winner keen on linking up with this Chelsea star

World Cup winner Raphael Varane has revealed his belief that Eden Hazard has what it takes to play for Real Madrid.

Varane knows what it takes to make it at the Santiago Bernabeu better than most. He arrived as a relatively unknown youngster, with his hard work elevating him to the summit of football.

The now 26-year-old has gone on to win two La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues and the World Cup with France. He’s a winner, and he appears to be fond of our Eden.

As the Daily Mail report, Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid. These comments from Varane in an interview conducted by Marca suggest he wants it to happen:

“He is a top player and it’s like I said to explain the case with Pogba, he could also play at Madrid.”

“He is in the best moment of his career with the age and quality he has. When we (France) faced (Belgium) in the World Cup semi-finals we knew we had to have a special plan to stop him.”

Hazard is one of the best there is, so it’s no surprise that Varane would want to be lining up alongside him. Ultimately, it comes down to Real’s willingness to meet our asking price.
