Why Maurizio Sarri is satisfied with his performance in his maiden season at Chelsea

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is satisfied with his performance in his maiden season at Chelsea after making the Premier League top four and the Europa League semi-final.

The Blues are ready to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of the last-four clash and Sarri revealed he has achieved some of his basic targets at the club and aims to go further in his first season in England.

The top hierarchy at the club gave him a set of objectives to achieve this season. He was to ensure his side qualified for the Champions League next season, make the final of the Europa League and improve some of the struggling players, and he believes he has achieved those targets.

Speaking ahead of the Thursday night clash, Sarri says he has no problems with his bosses:

Some will disagree about how well he is doing, but there’s no denying we’ve seem improvements from some of the young players under his watch.
