Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is giving his prematch press conference ahead of the game against Arsenal in the Europa League final next week, and as always there are some interesting quotes from the Italian.
He was asked about the friendly in the US which saw Ruben Loftus-Cheek go off injured, and he revealed that the one thing he spoke to owner Roman Abramovich about was the injury.
Simon Johnson of the Evening Standard was at Cobham and revealed the interesting wrinkle of the conversation:

Well we guess it’s s relief Roman didn’t complain about the Bournemouth loss or something like that.
Abramovich may have felt guilty that the friendly he had organised had caused an injury to our best player a week before our biggest game of the season.
Then again he may not have cared at all.
A minute with Roman is probably one of the longer chats Sarri has had with our reclusive Russian owner. Let’s hope he has many more to come.
