Whenever a manager is appointed at their new team, there’s always chat about them bringing in players from their old team. That will surely be the case at Chelsea now that Antonio Conte is set to be appointed Inter manager.
But we didn’t expect this as a starting point…
The Metro are linking Conte with a desire to bring Victor Moses to the peninsula from Chelsea. The Nigerian has spent the second half of the season on loan at Fenerbahce, and still has a year left on that cession.
It was Conte who really transformed Moses’ career, turning him from a journeyman right winger into a title winning wing back. He hasn’t had a place at Chelsea since, and a move is likely. But to Inter Milan? Pull the other one. Moses was a convenient option for Conte, but it’s hardly like he hasn’t already got better options at his new club.
