Chelsea’s loan army is large enough to build two teams from, but the quality demanded at Stamford Bridge is always the hindrance to a constant progression of young players at the club.
Reece James, however, wants to join a select few who have found their way into the first team and after his impactful loan spell at Wigan Athletic this season, he has begun training with his senior colleagues at Cobham.
