Chelsea fans hope they have not seen the last of N’Golo Kante after latest reports

N’Golo Kante has been a regular face in the Chelsea team and continues to inspire the Blues to victories. His quality has shone through the squad and his teammates clearly prefer to have him in the team than out of it. But the latter could just happen if Chelsea are unable to handle their business well in the upcoming transfer window.

The Mirror says Paris Saint Germain have made Kante their priority signing in the summer after abandoning their pursuit for Everton hard tackler Idrissa Gueye. The report says Everton repeatedly turned down offers for Gueye in the January transfer window, leaving the French champions to focus on Chelsea’s ever-running midfielder.

The former Leicester anchor is currently out of Chelsea’s team after picking up a hamstring injury but is hoping to make it back for the Europa League final against Arsenal in Baku, Azerbaijan.

It’s tricky to say if he will actually leave London though, as Chelsea battle FIFA’s decision to ban them from signing players in the next two transfer windows. It seems unlikely that Chelsea would let one of their best players leave at a time like this.
