Bayern Munich’s classless pursuit of Chelsea starlet set to take bizarre turn

The manner in which Bayern Munich dealt with their pursuit of Callum Hudson-Odoi in January was classless – and it’s about to take a turn for the worse.

That’s what’s claimed by German newspaper Bild, who report that Bayern are hoping that their club doctor will be able to do a full assessment of CHO’s injury ahead of a potential summer bid.

The report says itself – talks between Chelsea and Bayern are at a standstill. To attempt to assess an injury sustained by a player you’re nowhere near signing is utterly ridiculous.

Hudson-Odoi is a Chelsea player and we have some of the best club doctors on the planet. We don’t need a second opinion, nor does he. He certainly doesn’t need a transfer.

Transfer speculation just seems to get more and more bizarre by the day. While we acknowledge the possibility of Bayern chasing CHO, there’s little chance they’ll be able to assess him.
