Why Victor Moses might not sign for Fenerbahce this summer

Victor Moses was almost a forgotten man at Chelsea, before Antonio Conte’s arrival turned him into a starting wing back.

Almost as quickly as he appeared though, he vanished under Maurizio Sarri, and in January he was granted an end to his purgatory with a move to Fenerbahce on an 18 month loan, starting this past January.

It’s all worked out pretty well for the Nigerian, and the Turkish club are apparently keen to take him on permanently.

However a little snippet of info buried in this piece by Nizaar Kinsella on Goal.com reveals that there’s a kink in the move.

While his new club want to make his loan permanent, their “financial” issues make a conclusion hard to reach this summer, according to Kinsella.

Luckily it’s an 18 month deal, so they have until next summer to sort out their cash problems and arrange a deal with us.
