Predicted XI: Rotation to return in final game of fixture hell

Tonight is the last game in Chelsea’s most hectic part of the season. It’s all downhill from here at this point, and it is likely the last time Maurizio Sarri will be able to pick a really heavily rotated team.

There is no game until Monday night after this, a longer break than usual for the first team.

That means a lot of rotation for this final easier game. Kepa may as well continue in goal but surely, SURELY Azpi gets a rest and Davide Zappacosta plays. Rudiger is out so Andreas Christensen will partner Gary Cahill at the back for potentially his last game for the club.

Left back is a tricky one. We would say Marcos Alonso but he didn’t train yesterday. Presumably, Emerson will be forced to play again.

In midfield, Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley are certain, with one of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and RLC joining them.

Up front, Olivier Giroud gets his chance to continue his EL form, with Willian and Pedro starting out wide, with Eden Hazard held in reserve like last week.

It should be enough to win given we’re leading in the tie and are at home. Let’s hope we aren’t forced to bring on Hazard like last week.
