Predicted XI: Maurizio Sarri to pick tough team to take on Burnley

Chelsea are finally out of the most hectic period of their season, and Maurizio Sarri can go into this final stretch looking to pick his best XI every week.

That chosen team is a little less clear now, after the Hudson-Odoi/Loftus-Cheek version of the team lost to Liverpool, while the Willian/Pedro version scored for fun and then capitulated against Slavia Prague.

So Sarri will go for the tried and tested, as he has so often this season. Kepa in goal, and injury permitting, Azpi, Rudiger, Luiz, Emerson will line up at the back, with Andreas Christensen filling in for Rudi if he’s still out.

In midfield, N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek should be the established three despite last week’s defeat.

We reckon Callum will miss out after disappointing against Liverpool, meaning a front 3 of Hazard, Higuain and Pedro, most likely. That should be enough to defeat Burnley at home, but given recent form, we’re not taking anything for granted.
