N’Golo Kante should be fit to face Manchester United this weekend.
The Frenchman has 6 full days to recover from the problem which saw him withdrawn after 45 minutes here, which Gianfranco Zola said in the post match press conference was a “contusion to the ribs”.
Some good news for #cfc at least. #Kante only suffered a contusion to his ribs and is expected to be okay to face #mufc

Zola says Kante suffered a contusion to his ribs after falling on an opposing player's ribs & couldn't breathe properly.
Thinks he'll be alright for United though #cfc

That is a huge piece of good news for a Chelsea team who have tonight been rocked by the news that Callum Hudson-Odoi has possibly ruptured his Achilles tendon.

We will need Kante and the rest of the team in top form to try and take on the Red Devils this weekend in the climactic game of the top four chase.
Maurizio Sarri’s job, and this season, hangs by a thread. Missing one of our best players for such a crucial game might just end up being fatal.
