Liverpool’s James Milner mimics former Chelsea striker in bizarre celebration

Hey, James Milner, get your own chuffing celebration.

I remember the day, I was there. After Jose Mourinho made a remark about Samuel Eto’o’s true age in a presser, he cracked out a truly brilliant celebration after scoring against Spurs.

Eto’o rolled back the years to take advantage of Jan Vertonghen’s mistake and set Chelsea on their way to a 4-0 thumping of Spurs at the Bridge.

It’s safe to say there was nothing wrong with his back that day, nor did James Milner appear to be in any discomfort as he stepped up to take a penalty today.

However, after Milner (predictably) buried it and secured a vital three points for Liverpool, he appeared to mimic Eto’o’s celebration from five years ago.

When Eto’o scored that goal against Spurs, Chelsea went seven points clear at the top with just nine games left to be played.

All we can hope for is a similar implosion from this Liverpool side after Milner’s celebration. It’s what the whole country are waiting for.
