“I was just happy to see the back of him” – Premier League’s top left back admits he was afraid of CHO

Andy Robertson has become an absolute key player for Liverpool over the last two seasons, and is arguably the single best left back in the Premier League, following the decline of Danny Rose and Marcos Alonso.

The Scot was up against Callum Hudson-Odoi at the weekend when we took on the Reds, and the two fairly well cancelled each other out.

CHO did not have a good game, getting involved very little and coming off as a sub in the second half. On the other hand, the threat he created down that side really limited Robertson, who wasn’t able to attack as much as usual.

It’s hardly surprising that the former Hull man was reluctant to bomb forwards when you hear his quotes about our young prodigy. It really makes you realise that the 18 year old is a feared player, even in only his second Premier League start.
