Chelsea send out all manner of players on loan, from Vitesse Arnhem to Turkey to Brazil.
Mostly we send players to countries or leagues that they know, but in some cases youngsters are forced to adapt to their new surroundings.
It can’t be easy to be a kid sent to a new country to do your job, so no wonder some just seem to spend their time playing Fortnite and going on Instagram after training.
Ola Aina, who is at Torino, isn’t one of those guys. He’s made a huge effort to fit in in Turin, and it looks like it’s paid off. He is happy and settled and playing well, and probably is hoping that the Toros pay the fixed purchase clause to make his move permanent.
