Eden Hazard needs to show more consistency or Chelsea will miss their two objectives this season

Eden Hazard has often proven he is the main star for Chelsea since he signed for the club in 2012, scoring great goals, important ones too, en route to winning several trophies.

However, one thing that has dragged him back just a bit is his inconsistencies. The Belgium international is not as steady in his scoring as the two great men, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi, but his talent means he could be. He has an immense ability on the ball and should be able to prove himself dependable for the Blues at all times.

One game exhilarating, another game exasperating. Hazard scored a masterclass goal against West Ham United last Monday, dancing past four players to hit the back of the net but spurned to great chances against Liverpool when his side were chasing the game at Anfield.

At 2-0 down, Chelsea needed inspiration from their superstar forward, and having been put clear on goal, Hazard hit the post in one instance and completely messed up the other. If he will rise to the levels of Messi and Ronaldo, even Neymar, Hazard needs the goals in those situations.
