‘It’s my best season’ – Talisman gives Chelsea fans hope with enjoyment of ‘Sarri-ball’

The fight to keep hold of Eden Hazard is very much on, but the Belgian’s just given us some encouragement in our efforts to make him stay.

We need not delve deep into the situation surrounding Hazard’s future, seeing as it’s been the hot topic in the footballing world for some time now.

With every world-class performance he produces, Hazard’s name is plastered across the back page of a different newspaper, home and abroad, linking him with you-know-who.

Until confirmation arrives of his departure, we will remain optimistic that he can be convinced to stay. A step towards achieving that could be to ensure Maurizio Sarri remains in power.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Hazard revealed how he is enjoying playing under Sarri, who he believes has a similar footballing philosophy to himself:

“Statistically it’s my best season, and I like to say that because the way he’s [Sarri] thinking is the same way I think football.”

“Sometimes we have lost but, at the end, the way he wants to play is the way I want Chelsea to play.”

Chelsea are only going to improve under Sarri’s stewardship, which Hazard ought to see for himself in his manager’s developing understanding of the English game.

We firmly believe that triumph could be on the horizon at Stamford Bridge. It’s up to Hazard whether he chooses to stick around to be part of it.
