Worse than Newcastle – Chelsea’s 2019 form has been seriously concerning

Chelsea have suffered a real dip in fortunes since the turn of the year – and it’s easy to see why we find ourselves in this precarious position.

Though we are still very much in contention to bag a Champions League spot, we need to win all of our remaining fixtures to make it happen.

That includes winning at Old Trafford, which will be difficult considering our recent away form against the league’s big six.

Our poor performances, and subsequent results, against them and others have deteriorated considerably since 2019 began.

Newcastle, of all teams, led by a Chelsea reject and owned by the tightest man in the league. How on Earth are they doing so much better than us?
