Chelsea’s biggest loan star angry at club for considering recall

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata, currently on loan at boyhood club Atletico Madrid is reportedly frustrated at the Blues for considering a recall.

The former Real Madrid forward struggled in his time at Stamford Bridge, failing to bag the goals expected of him. His displays looked lethargic and at times he seemed disinterested in games he was involved in. His seven goals this season in all competitions were considered insufficient for the London giants who decided to replace him with Gonzalo Higuain.

But two months into his loan deal at Atletico, Morata has struck five times for the Rojiblancos and AS now says the Blues want their player back.

The report further points that Morata is not willing to cut short his loan deal with Diego Simeone’s side due to the resentment at his treatment by the Premier League giants. The Blues are facing a transfer ban by FIFA restricting them from registering new players starting in the summer window.
