Chelsea might still have chance of signing top striker thanks to toxic situation

Chelsea fans have basically resigned themselves to the fact that they won’t be signing any players this summer – let alone any big stars. But in one particular case, they may have a shred of hope to hold on to.
Our forward line has been a real weak point for us in recent seasons, and Inter’s Mauro Icardi has seemed like an impossible dream to fill that hole.
But after his manager Luciano Spalletti came out and complained about his star’s conduct yesterday in quotes carried by The Sun, anything seems possible now.
Icardi’s ongoing soap opera with his wife seems to be really dragging the team down, and he may even consider a move to struggling Chelsea unless things sort themselves out.

Of course, in the end it will all come down to our transfer ban. Our hearing is on the 11th of this month. If we succeed in getting it suspended, anything is possible. If not… it’s going to be a long 12 months!
