Chelsea cult hero Ramires has revealed his favourite goal in his professional career – and there’s no prizes for guessing what he chose.
Ramires was never the most talented of players, but he was dynamic and hard-working, attributes which proved valuable to several managers who he worked under.
The Brazilian was fielded frequently in either midfield or right-wing, frustrating the fans as much as he impressed them, but doing so with a baby face you just couldn’t hate.
On one night in 2012, he produced something extraordinary, which lit the fuse for a historic turnaround which would see Chelsea reach the Champions League final.
