It would be a stunning turnaround by the 18-year old who was pursued publicly by Bayern Munich just two months ago. The German giants were eager to land the player in the winter transfer window, making four bids as per Sky Sports, that seemingly turned his head. A transfer request was handed in and the club feared the winger would leave soon.
However, the report by the Independent states that the player’s inner circle now want to agree on a new long-term deal with Chelsea but are looking for a weekly wage that befits his current growing status as one of the best teenagers in world football. That could be quite some figure.
