Southgate hails “England player” Hudson-Odoi after just a few days in training

This international break has become quite the spectacle for Chelsea fans trying to distract themselves from the chaos at the club at the moment.

With Eden Hazard’s imminent departure, and the transfer ban looming over us, it looks like we’re heading into this summer under a cloud.

That’s not a good time to have an international break, that’s for sure. But Gareth Southgate, like a bearded but angelic figure reaching down from Heaven, called up CHO to the senior England team to give us something else to talk about.

Now, in a press conference ahead of the game against Czech Republic tomorrow, he’s been talking up the youngster’s performances.
