Red-hot Dutch striker could be set for Bundesliga loan as Chelsea look to the future

German Bundesliga team Borussia Monchengladbach are interested in taking Daishawn Redan on loan this summer, according to internet whispers which seem to originate with Bild – although we’ve yet to find specifically where the sources below are citing from.

That would be on the assumption they lose former Chelsea man Thorgan Hazard to Borussia Dortmund, who are in turn losing Christian Pulisic to Chelsea… are you still following?

We’ve had great success before loaning players to BMG, with both Hazard and Andreas Christensen enjoyed successful spells in the Rhineland.

Presumably that means we have a good relationship with them, and one we hope to keep going long term.

Redan arrived from Ajax to join the youth system two summers ago, and he’s been a revelation at that level, scoring for fun ever since.

Now the 18 year old looks almost ready to take things to the next level and start getting into the senior game. A move to the Bundesliga, where we have seen numerous similar young players flourish in recent years, looks like a sensible one.

We watch this one with interest.
