Real Madrid add a second indispensable Chelsea star to summer wishlist

Real Madrid appear to have made it their summer goal to rid Chelsea of our best players in one transfer window – and it may not sit well with the top brass at the London club.

The Blues have already been offered an initial bid for Hazard, as per the Daily Record, who claim the player is rated in the region of €100M, with his contract due to expire in the summer of 2020.

The Hazard deal is far from done, but Los Blancos are also thought to be monitoring the situation of another Chelsea player – N’Golo Kante.

Le10Sport believe that Real Madrid, as well as Juventus, are linked, with Kante thought to be considering the idea of leaving Chelsea.

Kante joined Chelsea in 2016 from Leicester City where he won the Premier League in fascinating circumstances. He also won the league title at Chelsea under Antonio Conte in 2017, playing a key part in the Blues’ title triumph.

Interest from Real Madrid in a player like Kante is inevitable. There is no better player in his position anywhere in the world – not to mention that Zidane is a compatriot of his!

He has recently signed a new long-term contract, however. It’s difficult to imagine that Chelsea would be prepared to let him go anytime soon, especially considering the transfer ban.
