Predicted XI: Chelsea set to make major changes for dangerous Dinamo pitch

Chelsea face Dinamo Kiev in Ukraine today, and one of the major clues we got about the lineup was from Maurizio Sarri when he went on at length about the state of the pitch.

The boss pointed out it can cause injury, so we expect to see him pick as much of a rotated team as possible to avoid that possibility.

Kepa should be safe from those issues as a keeper, so he may as well play.

At the back, Davide Zappacosta, Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso are the three second string options Sarri will use to avoid risking his starters. If he really wants to avoid first teamers in there, maybe he’ll give Ethan Ampadu a chance?

In midfield, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek should play, and we suppose Mateo Kovacic in the Jorginho role.

Up front, we already know it will be Olivier Giroud with Gonzalo Higuain left at home, with Pedro and Callum Hudson-Odoi set to flank him.

All in all, an almost entirely rotated side.
