Maurizio Sarri blessed by injury gods ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Wolves

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri will be counting his blessings this morning, with the Blues heading into a Premier League game with NO first-team players carrying injuries.

Injuries can often be the undoing of teams’ seasons. There is only so much that can be pinned on the players and managers themselves, if one of your star performers breaks his leg or ruptures his ACL, it’s just rotten luck.

Chelsea have had their fair share of problems this term, perhaps not in terms of severity, but certainly quantity. Thankfully, Physio Room report that we do not have any injuries to contend with ahead of today’s clash with Wolves.

Following Tottenham’s loss to Southampton on Saturday afternoon, Chelsea have been provided a golden opportunity in the race for top four. Win our two games in hand over Spurs and we’ll go above them.

None of that matters if we’re unable to secure all three points today. Wolves defeated us 2-1 in the reverse fixture, so Sarri will be desperate to prevent that happening again. We have full faith in him preventing it.
