Everton v Chelsea team news: Higuain returns, fan favourites on the bench

Chelsea visit Goodison Park to take on Everton this afternoon, and the task for Maurizio Sarri’s men is clear, take all three points.

We remain in a good position to finish within the top four, but cannot afford to give up points as cheaply as we did against Wolves last time out.

Everton have struggled this season, but have plenty of quality in their locker, which we need to be extremely wary of this afternoon.

Thankfully, from our perspective, Kurt Zouma is ineligible to feature, meaning Everton’s backline will be missing an integral cog. Gonzalo Higuain starts, so that’s an opportunity for him.

There’s no starts for either of Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Callum Hudson-Odoi, though our progression in the Europa League ensures there’ll be more opportunities on the horizon for the pair.
