Chelsea face a real dilemma over Eden Hazard now.
It seems clear that the Belgian is going to ask to leave to join Real Madrid this summer. Zinedine Zidane has just been appointed, promised the players he wants. And why wouldn’t Hazard go? He would leave after yet another good season. Chelsea fans couldn’t really ask for more from him.

But if we really can’t sign any players this summer, we face a horrible scenario. If Hazard pushes to leave, we will be left with the following choice:
Keep an unhappy Hazard for a year, and lose him for nothing next summer.
Or get £100m for your best player, with no ability to even spend that money for a year.
It would really put us in a dreadful bind, and so all we can hope is that Eden wants to sign a new deal.
Otherwise, strategically, we’re in deep trouble.
