Callum Hudson-Odoi’s progress at Chelsea will be recognised with this significant step

Callum Hudson-Odoi, a star for England at every age group level so far, will play for the U21s in this upcoming set of fixtures.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, who say that the winger’s progress into playing more and more minutes in the first team at Stamford Bridge will see him upgraded to the top level below the senior team.

We’re really hoping he can celebrate that latest step up with another start against Dinamo Kiev later tonight.

The fact that he’s now considered good enough to be just one step below the senior squad shows his progress, and how highly a youngster who barely plays a match a month is thought of by the national team setup.

We hope that this can convince Maurizio Sarri he’s worth of more minutes, but with the season set to come down to one final run, we can see this being his last real shot at a start, barring injuries or a one off dead rubber at the end of the season.
