BREAKING: Callum Hudson-Odoi makes full England debut

England are playing Czech Republic, or Czechia as they are now known, in a Euro 2020 qualifier, and while it’s been a mildly impressive performance from England all round, there was only one thing Chelsea fans were waiting for.

The minutes ticked by, and while Ross Barkley came on as an early sub, there still was only one man Blues fans had their eyes on – Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The kid was only called up to the England U21s last week, but skipped straight to the senior side without featuring for Aidy Boothroyd’s men.

Now, he’s already got a FULL ENGLAND SENIOR CAP! Coming on to replace hattrick hero Raheem Sterling after 65 minutes.

This really is just sensational stuff, and more than we could ever have dreamed of not long ago.

Remember at the start of last season, when he was only just back from making his name at the U17 World Cup? It was all about Phil Foden back then, but CHO’s progress over the past 18 months has been sensational.

Now, the 18 year old without a Premier League start to his name is an England player. And no matter where he ends up this summer, that came as a Chelsea player.

Well done Callum. Let’s have another 100 caps please.

He’s even just contributed to the fifth goal!
