Chelsea are giving club’s biggest talent the silent treatment, bizarre report claims

The Sun have published a report on the future of Callum Hudson-Odoi, which quite frankly, makes no sense.

Hudson-Odoi’s future has been under the spotlight in recent weeks and months, with his emergence as a full England international doing us no favours on that front.

Chelsea will no doubt now be even more motivated to tie him down to a new contract. After all, he is the country’s biggest hope alongside close friend Jadon Sancho.

The Sun have now claimed, however, that Chelsea have placed CHO on hold ever since January, when the report notes that Bayern Munich were sniffing around.

It’s also their belief that Chelsea have put no plans in place to hold talks with Hudson-Odoi over his future, despite him having less than 18-months left to run on his deal.

We find this incredibly hard to believe. Especially with a transfer ban coming up, keeping hold of the 18-year-old will surely be high on the club’s list of priorities.

It’d make very little sense for Chelsea to be giving him the silent treatment in a period in which he needs an arm around his shoulder. Let’s take this report with a pinch of salt.
