£70m Serie A star reportedly wants Chelsea move ahead of Tottenham and Juventus

Chelsea are said to be the favored club for Federico Chiesa when he decides to leave Fiorentina next summer but the Blues’ imminent transfer ban could prevent any move for him.

Maurizio Sarri reportedly has set sights on him to beef up his attack after seeing several of his top attacking midfielders fail to find assists or goals in his debut season. A rebuilding attempt will be made, but FIFA’s threat to impose a ban on Chelsea’s transfer dealings have rocked the Blues top hierarchy who are still reeling from the announcement by the world governing body of football a few days ago.

According to the Sun, Chiesa who is rated at £70 million by the Italian Serie A club, has chosen to play under Sarri, rather than be lured by the trophy-grabby Juventus and Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham in the Premier League, although there are other clubs lurking to see what happens with his situation.

Chelsea have already signed Christian Pulisic for next summer from Borussia Dortmund.
