The Daily Mail is going hard on this Zinedine Zidane to Chelsea story.
The paper today publish further details on what the Frenchman will apparently demand in order to take over at Stamford Bridge.
Up first, clearly, is “keep Eden Hazard” – if only it were that easy, mate.
Secondly is a “major say in recruitment” – also unlikely to happen if we’re honest.
Thirdly, he apparently wants £200m in spending money.
In a way that’s more realistic than the other two – at least the club can control that aspect – but if ZZ is really making ultimatums like that he shouldn’t be on the list to start with.

Our board have already been burned by Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho in terms of managers clashing with the board over transfers, and it’s lead to an utter disaster both times. Do you really think they’re likely to appoint someone who seems to be making demands before they’re even offered the job?
It seems unlikely. Zidane is certainly a big name, but given the trouble that big names have given Marina and co in recent years, they might be looking for something a little different.
