Zinedine Zidane sets requirements Chelsea need to meet before he agrees to summer deal

Chelsea are reportedly on the lookout for a new manager after Maurizio Sarri failed to convince in his maiden season at the club and their main target Zinedine Zidane has told the Blues to satisfy a few conditions before he agrees on a deal.

The Frenchman is out of work since walking out of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu last summer and Chelsea now want to give him a path into his second managerial job. Having chalked up a lot of success in his time at Real Madrid, Zidane is now considered among the elite in the coaching ecosystem.

According to the Sun, Chelsea must make ready a sum of £200 million by the end of the season if they want to see the former Juventus and Real midfielder on their bench. Zidane says he requires that amount plus more if any player is sold, to rebuild the squad at Stamford Bridge.

He also wants Eden Hazard to be offered a new mega-deal to stay and Chelsea must make him influential in their player acquisition.

He won the Champions League three times in the three years he was at Real and Chelsea would hope he brings similar success rate to London with him if he signs.
