Chelsea are in the kind of situation where the panic button seem to have been pressed for the players and head coach despite being in the running for three trophies this season.
Effectively out of the Premier League title race, Chelsea are still in the hunt for silverware as they face Man City in the final of the Carabao Cup and remain well placed in the FA Cup and Europa League – for now.
Arsenal are also in contention for the latter and are tied with Chelsea in the Premier League standings but Micheal Owen and Joe Cole agree, the Blues still look the more attractive between the two for potential signings. They spoke in BT Sport’s post-match analysis after Chelsea’s away victory at Malmo last Thursday.
