Chelsea beat Malmo 2-1 last night in what was a very tense and difficult game for us.
We had a largely second string team out, which added to the difficulty, but the whole trip was a bit of an ordeal given Maurizio Sarri’s future was an awkward elephant in the room.
The Chelsea behind the scenes video below shows all the of the match buildup, and you can almost smell the tension in the air as the Blues take their prematch press conference and warmup.
No wonder then they looked so nervy in the game, especially as they were mostly second string players. You can also the see relief after the game as the players are able to cool off and relax with a tiny fragment of breathing space again.
