Chelsea fans were irate on social media after their latest defeat to Manchester United, this time getting them knocked out of the FA Cup.
Recent results have not been kind to Maurizio Sarri and with the fans inside Stamford Bridge chanting ‘You are getting sacked in the morning’, it’s clear the Italian tactician’s job is going off the rails. The Blues are not at their best at the moment and some fans are visibly annoyed.
On Twitter, Terry Ennison, a Chelsea fan, expressed his surprise at how Sarri continues to keep his job while Alex Goldberg questioned the coach’s decision to keep Hudson-Odoi out of the side on Monday.

Reporting is not an easy job & I have respect for many of the reporters who work around Chelsea.
With that said, I’m absolutely stunned none of them asked Sarri about the Zappacosta substitution, aka leaving Hudson-Odoi unused. That has to be asked. No excuses.

But Abramovich has really become generous back then after that 6-0 Sarri would have been at the Airport on his way to Italy

There are those who support him through all these poor results however. Some Chelsea fans clearly think there should be a marker laid down for players to know they must play for their managers, or lose their rights to wear the shirt. Simon Philips said if Sarri is sacked, Chelsea may fail to convince other top managers to come in while other fans only want Sarri to be given time as Jurgen Klopp has had at Liverpool.
This isn’t in defence of Sarri, his decisions are in-defendable.
But there’s a reason Pep didn’t want to manage here.
If we sack Sarri now, what top manager will agree to come in, knowing his squad isn’t good enough, knowing he’ll get sacked if they don’t succeed?

I wonder why Chelsea fans are turning on Sarri. Klopp has been at Liverpool for 4 years. Pochettino at Spurs for 5. They are playing modern football & their fans are happy at their "success' & "progress." Chelsea fans should learn from them. Football is not just about winning.😊

There was another fan who thinks the only reason Sarri could lose his job is his decisions and tactics against the top sides, as statistically, the former Napoli boss is not failing at the club for a maiden season.
