Chelsea will only sack Maurizio Sarri before the season ends if it becomes clear the Blues will not qualify for the Champions League next term, as per a report by the Metro.
If that is true, then he is hanging by a thread at Stamford Bridge. His football has been hard to watch since late last year and the results have not been kind to him. Losing to the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth could be considered only the tip of the iceberg after Manchester City demolished them 6-0 last weekend.

The Metro’s report claims Sarri would lose his job if he fails to establish Chelsea in the top four this season. His side currently sit sixth in the standings, although only separated by a point from fourth-placed Manchester United.
He is still hot in the pursuit of trophies this season though, with Chelsea in the final of the Carabao Cup, in the last 32 of the Europa League and also in the fifth round of the FA Cup. So not everything is going badly.
