“Huge” argument puts Chelsea back in the race for brilliant striker

The Sun are today reporting that Paulo Dybala has had a “huge bust up” with his manager at Juventus Max Allegri, and that’s put interested clubs on alert for a summer transfer.

Let’s break this down though, because there’s a long way to go before we would get anywhere near the brilliant Argentine’s signing.

Firstly, this argument will have to be a big deal rather than just a temporary spat. Secondly, the Italian giants would have to decide that keeping Allegri is more important than keeping Dybala.

Even if those things fell into place, there would still not necessarily be an easy route for the former Palermo man to come to us. His fee would be massive, and we’d have to fight off probably Barcelona, PSG and Real Madrid to sign him, given that world class players don’t hit the market often.

So let’s not get too excited yet. We’re not much closer now than we’ve ever been.
