Chelsea’s rollercoaster season could lead to Sarri being sacked despite trophy win if Chelsea keep up trigger happy record

Chelsea have had a rollercoaster season emotionally so far.

We started with a long unbeaten run, have had proper soul-searching after some heavy defeats, and have had the fanbase divided over our manager’s future within months of his arrival.

The last couple of weeks have summed it all up. Poor performances were followed by an impressive win over Tottenham, there was a shocker against Arsenal and the horror-show against Bournemouth last week, but it’s hard not to feel hopeful again after seeing the club’s new striker score twice in his first home game.

Lifting a cup this month against Manchester City would be pretty unexpected, but this up and down season can go from 0 to 10 in the link of an eye, as we’ve already seen.

Would you really back against us pulling off a surprise win against City and lifting a trophy – then still ending up seeing Sarri fired at the end of the season?

It would be a very Chelsea thing to do. Perhaps his replacement would go on to win the Europa League?
