Petr Cech and Chelsea to discuss possibilities in returning to Stamford Bridge after retirement

Chelsea and Petr Cech may soon enter discussions over a possible return to the club after his playing days are over in the summer.

The Czech Republic international announced on Tuesday he will no longer wear the gloves in professional football, ending a brilliant 14-year career in the Premier League. His numbers are stats are astronomical and his pedigree means he can walk into almost any goalkeeper coaching job in the world.

The Blues would fancy having him back at the club as he remains a personal favorite of Blues owner Roman Abramovich.

As per TeamTalk, Cech would consider moving back to West London, where his family still resides and re-establish himself in the Chelsea ranks, this time as a coach.

The 36-year old recorded an amazing 202 clean sheets in the Premier League, 24 of those coming in the record-breaking 2004/05 season. Following a decline in form, he was replaced by Thibaut Courtois in Chelsea’s first team, leading to his move to Arsenal in 2015.
