One condition Chelsea must fulfill in order to parade Gonzalo Higuain against Arsenal this weekend

The buzz fans feel when a new signing takes to the field for the first time is always at a crescendo and if Gonzalo Higuain makes his debut against Arsenal this weekend, Blues fans will undoubtedly harbour such feelings.

The Blues are reportedly pushing to have Gonzalo Higuain ready for Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Arsenal but with the deal yet to be confirmed, that possibility looks quite slim. As per the London Evening Standard, Chelsea are trying to wrap the deal up as soon as possible to make that happen.

Reports in Italy suggest Chelsea and Juventus have agreed on terms for the player to cut short his loan stint with AC Milan and join the London giants, but Maurizio Sarri’s side also have to register the player before noon, Friday, January 17 as a member of their squad before he will be eligible to play against the Gunners.

Higuain returned to Italy alone after playing a part in AC Milan’s loss to Juventus in the 2019 Italian SuperCoppa on Wednesday.
