Dortmund close in on £38m former Chelsea attacker as Pulisic replacement

Borussia Dortmund are looking to sign former Chelsea attacker Thorgan Hazard in order to replace Christian Pulisic who is coming to Stamford Bridge this summer.

That’s according to the Daily Mail, who say that a £38m deal is being lined up to add the Belgian to their title-chasing team.

Hazard never made the first team at Chelsea, and was sent on several loans before leaving permanently to Germany two summers ago without much fuss being made.

The 25 year old signed a deal with Borussia Monchengladbach that ends at the end of next season so it makes sense that would be interested in cashing in while they can still get maximum value.

Whether he will turn out to be another player Chelsea fans are frustrated the club never gave a chance to we will have to wait and see, but it’s certainly a possibility. Dortmund don’t make too many bad transfer decisions.
