Callum Hudson-Odoi has begun asking about life in Germany ahead of possible move to Bayern Munich

As the hours and days roll by, Callum Hudson-Odoi is stealthily getting the word across to the Chelsea board to let him leave to Bayern Munich this month.

The European giants have expressed strong interest in signing the youngster this transfer window and have already made four bids as per BBC. The report indicates that the player is willing to move to the Bundesliga after getting frozen out of Chelsea’s squad for the most part of his short stint in the first team.

The Blues are keen to keep the 18-year old but his head may have been turned by the pursuit by one of the world’s truly top sides and the opportunity to replicate or better the displays of Jadon Sancho in the German top flight.

However, changing from the Premier League to the Bundesliga is a big one and its obvious Hudson-Odoi needs all the advice he can get and his teammate Antonio Rudiger has revealed the Bayern target has already asked him about life in German football.

“It was just a general question from him to know, because he is still young. I can advise him. But, at the end of the day, he decides about his future. He can develop as well here. You can see it from both sides. Of course, he can develop in Germany as well, and don’t forget Bayern Munich is also a big club.

I wish him all the best, but for me I just wish he stays with us. Of course, as a young player, it’s very important to play. Where it is? I hope it will be here.”
