Barcelona could end up paying €70m for Alvaro Morata according to latest reports

Barcelona are willing to offer Chelsea €10m euros, including his wages, to take Alvaro Morata on loan.

That’s whats being reported today by El Larguero, Spain’s largest football radio show. They claim that senior members of the Barcelona organisation are willing to make the offer, with an optional €60m purchase clause added.

This will all come as a bit of a surprise to Chelsea fans, who can bareley imagine the striker making the grade at Boreham Wood, let alone Barcelona.

It remains to be seen what happens from here, suffice to say that if you we get anything close to the deal on the table now, we should bite their hands off.

Morata may yet prove to be a good striker, but it doesn’t look like it will happen in England, and it definitely doesn’t look like it will happen at Chelsea. The sooner he’s off the better, for both parties.
