Chelsea fans will be surprised to hear that there are now not one but two big Spanish clubs chasing their flop striker Alvaro Morata.
He’s been pretty poor in England, and Chelsea fans’ patience has mostly run out, but there’s still plenty of interest in his home country.
Pipe Sierra is now reporting that Atletico Madrid are also chasing the striker with a similar deal in mind – pay his wages for the rest of the season and take him on loan with an option to buy in the summer.

After reports yesterday that Barcelona were going to commit to an even bigger offer for the striker, some Chelsea fans will be rubbing their eyes at this latest update. Could it really be that the big softie is in such demand?
It seems so. Let’s hope we can play these two off against each other and get a superb deal.
